saddles are custom and hand-made in the United
States. They are made of the best American Cowhide.
The leather used is strong, heavy, and flexible. You
will not see any two saddles exactly alike, as each
is an original crafted by our saddle makers.

We are
the only known company that offers to send out the
saddletree for fitting to insure a good fit for your
horse or mule. We DO NOT use coat hanger
measurements, as they are inaccurate and
unreliable. Coat hanger measurement just measures Ό
of your animals entire back. You cannot see gullet
width, bar fit from front to back or if the saddle
will sit on the spine. Coat hanger measurements are
a guess at best. We do not want a saddle that will
not fit your horse or mule correctly.
Tree
Fitting Program:
To insure a good fitting saddle BEFORE the
saddle is built, we offer to give you the tree we
feel would be the best fit. To do this we only
require a credit card number to release the tree to
your possession for fitting and picture taking. No
amount will be charged unless the tree is not
returned or is returned damaged, in which a fee of
$150 will be charged to that card. All trees are
property of West Stampede Saddlery.
We
cannot allow returns on custom-made saddles, so it
is important to obtain the correct tree fit. We do
give you instructions on how to take clear
informative pictures of the tree on your horse and a
questionnaire to fill out with pertinent
information.
